Price a clip with the calculator

HeyGen costs $0 to $149 a month. Free is $0; Creator is $29/month for 600 credits; Pro is $49/month for 1,000; Business is $149/month for 1,500.

HeyGen sells credits per month, like Pika, and the tracked rows do not state how many credits one video costs. The per-credit figures below are derived from plan price and allowance; they are not published by HeyGen.

How HeyGen bills

Four monthly plans, each with an included credit allowance. No per-second, per-clip or per-video rate appears in the tracked rows. The Free plan row lists $0 and no credit count.

Price gap to the next tier

Step Monthly increase Extra credits Marginal cost per credit
Creator → Pro +$20 +400 $0.05
Pro → Business +$100 +500 $0.20

This is the opposite of a volume discount. Creator and Pro cost almost the same per credit — $0.0483 versus $0.049, a 1.4% difference — so the $20 upgrade buys 400 more credits at roughly the same unit price.

Business is different. It doubles the per-credit cost to $0.0993, and the marginal cost of the 500 credits between Pro and Business is $0.20 each — four times Pro's average. If you are buying on credits alone, Business is the worst of the three paid plans. The tracked row does not say what else it includes.

Why there is no per-clip price

HeyGen's pricing page gives plan prices and credit allowances. It does not state credits per generated video, and that number varies with what you generate. Any dollar-per-clip figure for HeyGen would be an estimate.

Money-saving notes

  1. Creator, not Pro, if you are near 600 credits. The $20 step buys 400 credits at $0.05 each — slightly worse than Creator's average.
  2. Do not upgrade to Business for credits. Its per-credit cost is 2× Pro's.
  3. No annual rate is in the tracked rows. Budget monthly; this page cannot quote a yearly discount.
  4. Check what Business includes before paying 5× Creator. The price row says 1,500 credits and $149; it does not describe seat count, API access or commercial terms.
  5. Free plan for testing only. No credit count is listed.

Worked example

A team needs 1,200 credits a month. Pro gives 1,000 for $49, which is 200 short. The next tier up, Business, is $149 for 1,500 — 50% more credits for 3× the price. The tracked rows include no HeyGen top-up price, so the cost of covering the 200-credit gap cannot be priced from this file.

FAQ

How much does one HeyGen video cost?

Not published. HeyGen sells monthly credit plans and the tracked rows do not state credits per video. Cost per credit is $0.0483 on Creator, $0.049 on Pro and $0.0993 on Business.

Is the Business plan better value?

On credits alone, no. Business is $149 for 1,500 credits, which is $0.0993 per credit against $0.049 on Pro. It costs roughly twice as much per credit. What else it includes is not in the tracked pricing row.

Why is Pro barely cheaper per credit than Creator?

Because the step is +$20 for +400 credits, a marginal rate of $0.05, which is above Creator's $0.0483 average. The plans are priced close to linear.

Does HeyGen publish per-second pricing?

No per-second or per-clip row appears in the four tracked rows. All four are monthly plans.
