Pika costs $0 to $95 a month. Free is $0; Starter is $10/month for 600 credits; Creator $35/month for 2,600; Fancy $95/month for 8,550 or more. Credit top-ups start at a $25 pack.
Pika does not sell clips. It sells monthly credits, and the tracked pricing rows do not state how many credits one video costs. So this page gives you plan prices and cost per credit, and stops there — it does not invent a per-clip number.
How Pika bills
Monthly subscription with an included credit allowance, plus credit packs. Pika's page states that Creator and Fancy include no watermark and a commercial license; Starter's row says the same. The Free plan row says credit packs are available and there is no watermark.
The cost-per-credit column is derived: plan price ÷ included credits. Pika does not publish that figure.
Price gap to the next tier
| Step | Monthly increase | Extra credits | Marginal cost per credit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter → Creator | +$25 | +2,000 | $0.0125 |
| Creator → Fancy | +$60 | +5,950 | $0.0101 |
Each upgrade is cheaper per credit than the plan below it. Creator is 19% cheaper per credit than Starter ($0.0135 vs $0.0167) and Fancy is 17% cheaper than Creator ($0.0111 vs $0.0135).
The top-up pack is priced at the Starter rate, $0.0167 per credit, so buying a pack costs the same per credit as the entry plan and more than either higher plan.
Annual billing, from Pika's page: Starter $8/month billed annually ($96/year), Creator $28/month ($336/year), Fancy from $76/month (from $912/year). Those annual figures are the vendor's stated prices, not derived here.
Why there is no per-clip price
Converting credits to clips needs one number Pika's pricing page does not publish: credits per generated video. A 600-credit plan is not "600 videos" or "60 videos" — it depends on model, length and resolution, and none of that is in the tracked rows.
A dollar-per-clip figure for Pika would be an estimate, not a published rate. We would rather show you the plan price and the credit gap than a number you cannot reconcile with your invoice.
Money-saving notes
- Do not top up if you can wait for a plan upgrade. The pack is $0.0167 per credit; Creator is $0.0135.
- Creator is the first volume discount. It is $25 more than Starter for 4.3× the credits, and 19% cheaper per credit.
- Fancy only pays off if you burn more than 2,600 credits a month. The $60 step over Creator buys 5,950 credits at $0.0101 each, the cheapest rate in the table.
- Annual billing cuts the monthly rate by 20% on Starter ($10 to $8) and Creator ($35 to $28), based on Pika's stated annual prices.
- Free plan for evaluation only. The row lists $0 and no credit count, so there is no cost-per-credit to compare.
Worked example
A team rendering 40 short clips a month needs to know its credit burn before choosing a plan. The tracked data cannot answer that: it has the plan price and the allowance, not the credits per render. Budget $35/month for Creator and measure actual credit consumption before committing to Fancy.
FAQ
How much does one Pika video cost?
Not published. Pika sells credits, not clips, and the tracked pricing rows do not state credits per video. The useful number is cost per credit: $0.0167 on Starter, $0.0135 on Creator, $0.0111 on Fancy (at most, given the "8,550+" allowance).
Is Pika cheaper than HeyGen?
At the entry paid tier, Pika is $10 for 600 credits and HeyGen is $29 for 600. But the credit units are defined differently by each vendor, so the cheaper invoice does not prove the cheaper video. See Pika vs HeyGen.
What is included in the plans?
Pika's pricing rows state no watermark and a commercial license on Starter, Creator and Fancy, and no watermark on Free. Nothing in the tracked rows mentions resolution, queue priority or model access, so this page does not claim them.
Does the top-up expire?
Not stated in the tracked row. The row gives the pack price and the rate of 60 credits per $1 from $25.
